As a corporate success story this rapidly growing and dynamic organisation is quite exceptional. From early beginnings they have grown to £10 million t/o and 80 staff and will still double in size during 2009. This expansion is based on both innovative products and a market sector that is almost entirely recession-proof. Their business is part technology, part construction and part transport, giving them both a solid base and huge room for growth. The strength of their innovation has seen them achieve sole supplier status with many blue chip clients.
Yet they still remain pragmatic and direct with a happy, open culture. Their management style is very hands off, empowering staff to complete tasks within a no blame environment.
As a result of this growth they are recruiting an experienced HR manager who wants to be part of the senior management team and contribute significantly to future policy. They have three sites, in Hertfordshire and the midlands, from which they provide national coverage. The role will oversee all employee relations and the employment processes associated with recruiting 2 – 4 staff per week. Strategically you will implement HR best practice and working policies that this rate of growth requires. Working very closely with the MD you will be responsible for shaping the organisation going forward.
